What are the age requirements for attending the expo?

• Answer: All guests must be 21 or older. This is the most important requirement due to regulatory compliance.

Can I buy recreational cannabis at this expo?

• Answer: No, recreational cannabis is not available for purchase at this expo.

Will I be able to buy seeds and clones at this expo?

• Answer: No, seed and clone sales are not permitted at this event.

What type of products will be for sale at this event?

• Answer: The expo will feature custom-made art and merchandise, equipment for home growing, rolling papers, bongs, glass art, vaporizers, lighters, and terpenes without THC, accompanied by lab reports. OCE assumes no responsibility for any items purchased at this event. We assume no liability for failed or broken product purchases, vendors, or exhibitors.

• Answer: Yes, food and drinks will be available for purchase directly from The Makoy hosting the expo.

Will I need to show ID to enter?

• Answer: Yes, a valid ID is required for entry. Upon verification, you will receive a wristband to signify your participant status. Any bags will be checked. We will collect your name, phone number, and email for security and safety reasons only. 

Do I need a business license to be an exhibitor?

• Answer: Yes, all exhibitors must have a valid business license to sell products at the expo.

Do I need to charge and collect sales tax?

• Answer: Yes, all vendors making retail sales at the expo are required to collect Ohio sales tax.

Can I consume cannabis or hemp products inside the venue?

• Answer: No, consuming any form of cannabis or hemp products (including smoking, vaping, or edibles) is strictly prohibited inside The Makoy. Violators will be asked to leave and may face a ban from future expos.

How is this expo different from previous expos?

• Answer: This is the first Ohio Cannabis Expo following the legalization of recreational cannabis, marking a significant milestone in the state's cannabis culture.

What is the goal of this expo?

• Answer: The expo aims to strengthen the Cannabis Community by supporting local brands and small business owners within the industry.

Who is organizing the Ohio Cannabis Expo?

• Answer: The expo is hosted by Ohio Cannabis Live, founded by Anthony D. Riley, and operated by Another Mastamynd Hit LLC, known as Ohio Cannabis Live.

Why is there a ticket fee?

• Answer: The ticket fee covers the costs of the venue, supplies, and giveaways, helping to ensure a high-quality event for all attendees.

What if the event is canceled?

• Answer: There is no refund unless the event is canceled forever and is never rescheduled . 

Will tickets be sold at the door?

• Answer: Yes, tickets will be available at the door. We prefer credit card payments, but cash will also be accepted.
